With a high-precision non-contact sensor to automatically calibrate and compensate for any variances or unevenness at 49-point across the print platform, the bed leveling process is very simple and precise. The Neptune 3 Pro comes with everything you need to get your printer set up. You get tools to build and maintain the printer, side cutters, a plastic scraper, 2 spare nozzles, and a microSD card with a USB adapter. There’s also a small sample of white PLA to print your first model.

The Elegoo Neptune X ships as a partially-assembled kit, and will require some assembly before printing. The Elegoo Neptune X ships as a partially-assembled kit, and will require some assembly before printing. I found the assembly process to be straight-forward, and it took a total of about an hour and a half to build. Unlike i3-style printers that typically resemble an upside-down “T” shape and can be assembled with only a few bolts (like the Anycubic Kobra Plus), the Neptune X requires a more extensive assembly process and probably wouldn’t be a great fit for a beginner. Assembling the frame is fairly straight-forward, but the motion system requires careful attention to detail and a higher level of precision. Separate Segmented Heatbed

The heatbed can be set to 100W to heat only the center area (120mmx120mm), making it ideal for smaller models. For larger models, the heatbed can be set to 250W, heating the entire surface area. Efficient Cooling System
To ensure rapid and omnidirectional cooling of newly deposited models, the Neptune 4 Pro has two thickened 4015 ball bearing cooling fans on each side of the print head and four 4020 ball bearing blower fans behind it.
